FuelFilm:Memphis is offering a “Cast Away” workshop to bring together actors, casting directors and filmmakers.
Speakers will include local casting directors and talent agency representatives who will discuss the casting process and best practices for filmmakers and on-screen talent.
The workshop is Saturday, July 10, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Howard Hall, 2282 Madison.
The main event will be an organized casting session where participating filmmakers present projects they hope to cast and participating actors will read for a variety of parts.

Actors may bring headshots and resumes but it is not required, and aspiring actors are welcome. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to participate.
