For the second straight year, On Location: Memphis has been awarded a grant from the Film Fest Committee of the Broadcast Film Critics Association.
The BFCA's membership includes TV, radio and online film critics including Memphis and Shelby County Film & Television Commissioner Linn Sitler, The Commercial Appeal's John Beifuss and Robert Osborne from Turner Classic Movies.
The Film Fest Committee was established in 2007 to “expand the BFCA’s international reach and profile.” For the second year, as part of their mission to provide financial support to festivals that feature significant member participation and member involvement in juries, panels and workshops, BFCA has awarded OLM a grant. This grant will assist OLM in the presentation of its 13th annual international film and music fest April 19-22, 2012, at various Malco Theatre sites around the city.
