Film-Com 2012 was presented earlier this week in Nashville as a four-day event to link filmmakers with finance and distribution people. The Memphis & Shelby County Film and Television Commission and the Tennessee Film, Entertainment & Music Commission hosted a luncheon Wednesday at the Palm Restaurant for attendees, raising the visibility of Memphis as a prime film location.
Commissioner Linn Sitler and board member Dr. Susan Murrman attended along with Memphis Music Foundation president Dean Deyo and representatives of FuelFilm: Memphis
State Film Commissioner Bob Raines was also there along with State Commission Project Manager Gisela Moore. Film-Com is the brainchild of Andy Van Roon who is founder and chairman of the event.
