The Nashville/Midsouth chapter of The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences announced nominations for its 24th Annual Midsouth Regional Emmy Awards on November 20.

Memphis was well represented in the wide-ranging array of categories, including the documentary projects "I Am a Man" and "$5 Cover Amplified: Ben Nichols and Valerie June," which won multiple nominations. The regional Emmys will be handed out Jan. 30, 2010.
