For four consecutive years, MovieMaker Magazine has picked Memphis as one of the top 10 "movie cities" in the country.
Coming up is the 10th year to rank cities on their appeal to filmmakers. The magazine defines best as: “those places that offer the perfect combination of employment opportunities, reasonable costs of living, strong quality of life, affordable home prices and, of course, financial incentives.”
In 2005, Memphis earned an honorable mention. It made No. 10 in 2006, No. 7 in 2007, No. 10 in 2008 and No. 8 this year.
And, if we may modestly point out, last year's roundup mentioned the Memphis and Shelby County Film and Television Commission's "attention to detail."
Now it's time for the 2010 balloting and here's where you go to vote. Remember: Attention to detail counts!
